Independence Day

Sadly I woke up on the 4th with my sinus infection and sore throat feeling 10X worse and I was truly grateful for a doctor nice enough to call me in a steroid and antibiotic at 8:30AM while he's on vacation!

In the afternoon John and his family came (they are headed out to Missouri and Minnesota).  We had a BBQ and then headed to the golf course to watch the fireworks.  We had fun playing Frisbee and at the playground and fun with sparklers till a hot broken sparkler piece burnt Naomi's neck!  

After fireworks Joseph and Andrew lit our left over bottle rockets and flowers. They stayed the night with us and then were on their way.  It was so fun having them here!

Our Week...

We had a really fun and busy week!  The 3 older kids got to do a backyard games camp Monday-Thursday from 8:30-11:30.  They played all sorts of fun games and even had a water themed day full of slip n slides, water balloons and water guns.  My favorite part was the lunches they gave the kids at the end, so not only did they get to play all morning with friends but I didn't have to make lunch after I picked them up.  

Also all this week Maddie had diving class and she had such a fun time there.  On top of that we went to the pool a couple times, went to Lego club at the library, scouts, the summer movie and lots of bike rides and playing with the neighbors.

 Everett and I came early to camp and walked the trails until they were done-

Girls weekend in burley

We had a fun weekend with my sisters and all the girls (plus Everett and Aksel).  The girls got to sew their own Pajama pants with grandma and they made fairy furniture for the fairy garden and they scrapbooked with Grandma.
