Anniversary in Salt Lake

Thanks to Sara taking our kids Andy and I were able to spend a really fun 24 hours together.  We started our evening with a lovely walk from our hotel to PF Changs.  Dinner was delicious!  around 10pm we walked to the movie theater to watch X-men.  We had a longer walk back to our hotel at 1AM that was very interesting/entertaining full of passed out people on the sidewalks, cops, party buses, etc.  The city is alive in the middle of the night, that's for sure!

Saturday morning we got to sleep in and then we headed to Park's Cafe at 11am.  Again amazing food!  Our plans were to head to the temple next but then we found out it was closed.  So we headed to the mall for a little shopping and hit an afternoon matinee of Planet of the Apes.  It was a wonderful Anniversary!

12 Years!!!

Can't believe 12 years have passed.  Most the time I still feel like we are a young early married couple then I get around a newlywed couple and realize when I tell them I have 4 kids and married for 12 years we don't really seem like a young couple.  Its been an amazing 12 years full of so many memories and happy times.  I couldn't ask for a better partner in life.

Scout day camp

Garen got to experience his first day of scout camp.  He got to shoot BB guns, try archery, and lots of other fun stuff.

An he used his own money to buy a sling shot from the trading post.

Green Eggs and Ham acting Camp

The girls really enjoyed their week of acting camp this week.  The last day they reanacted the story of Green Eggs and ham.  Sophie was eat them in the rain and Maddie's was eat them in the dark.

Track Meet

The kids had a blast at the kid track meet. Here's how they did: Maddie got 1st in the standing long jump, jumping 6 feet 1 inch, 2nd in the throwing, 1st in the 100 meter and 2nd in the 400 meter.

Garen got first in the standing long jump, 2nd in the throwing, and 2nd in the 100 meter

Sophie got 1st in the throwing with a 25 ft. throw.

One of my favorite things is sitting and talkin and laughing with Everett over breakfast. He is too funny!

Long Summer Days

I love long Summer Days!  Playing all day, to much sun, playing in the water, staying up late because it's still light outside.  These are the days I dream about during the middle of Winter.

Today:

9-11  Maddie and Sophie's acting camp

9:30-10:30 Gym for me (and daycare for the boys)

12-3:30 Garen's Tennis camp

1-3 Play at splash park

3:00 Girls swimming lessons

4:00 Play volleyball with my friends

7:00 Dinner and FHE on how well do you know your family

8:30-10 play, play play
