Race Day
Today, my best friend Carrol drove to Logan so we could run a 5K race together. It was so much fun just to enjoy each others company again. The race went well and it felt really good. Carrol (and her sister and baby Emi) came over for a short time after the race.

How did the race go? Were you ready for it after a long week? I'm sure it was fun to race with Carrol, you guys probably laughed the whole time and the race was over before you even knew it.

Carrol forgot her running shoes and had to barrow her moms Airwalks and they were hurting her feet. And she kept saying how everyone was looking at her shoes.

We did laugh a lot but it was kind of huff and puff laughing. We did it in 33 minutes, so not amazing but not to bad. The race did go by very quickly running with Carrol!
Em! What a cute post about it! How fun, when I get a chance I'll post about it too :0)! I wish we could of stayed longer, but next time! Your Dad came to Dolan's court of honor, so nice of him, and I informed him that everyone really was looking at my shoes. I know they were all thinking,"what a fake runner with fake running shoes!" I miss you already, XOXOXOXo~Me
And Alisha, Em was so rude, she wouldn't even let me borrow her old running shoes. hehehe!!! J/K!! She was nice enough to bring her old pair, but they squished my toes so I decided to go with the Air Walks :0)
It was so cute watching you and Carrol run around as kids and run in track in high school and now you are still running through life together. Sweet!
