Road Trippen

Driving to Minnesota and back is a LOT of driving!  But I came prepared with secret surprises for the kids to give along the way.  Simple things like lightsabor suckers, a book of mazes, felt coloring pages, and a couple brand new movies.  The kids really were so good during all the travels and I wasn't sure how Everett would do be he traveled like a champ!  Besides Garen throwing up in the car once and at the end of our trip Sophie complaining of a sore throat things went really smoothly!  We enjoyed all the changes in the beautiful scenery outside and some pretty sunsets.  We crossed both the Mississippi and Missouri rivers.

we hit 144,000 miles on our way home.  Glad the van is still running strong!

We stopped at an Olive Garden (we didn't want to eat Peanut butter and honey in the car again).  It was the kids' first time eating here, they loved it.
