We had a lovely 4th of July. Andy took the kids hiking and shooting for the afternoon while Everett and I stayed home and cooked food for the BBQ later and even took a little nap. In the evening we went to the Smith's house where we had yummy food, the kids played nonstop, lit fireworks, and then watched the big firework show. We got the kids in bed about 11pm even though Sophie claimed she was not tired. Her head was on her pillow I think less than a second before she was asleep.
I am so not a hair person so I was pretty proud of Maddie's star hair-

Cute pic in their 4th of July attire. Looks like a fun day. Oh and Maddie's hair looks really cute...what a good idea.
