Pumpkins

Life got busy and I didn't go to the store to get pumpkins till Wednesday and sure enough there were no pumpkins to be found..anywhere.  So I got the tiny ones and life got busy and it was Halloween late afternoon and thought we better get them painted (since they were to small for carving).  The kids loved it and they were still wet but we got them done before trick or treating.

HALLOWEEN

Wqe had a fun Halloween.  We went to the Library Carnival, met friends at McDonalds, painted pumpkins, went trick or treating and ended watching "The Nightmare before Christmas"

Trunk or Treat

This year we went as the 5 Ninjago ninjas and Andy was Sensei Wu

Garen planned and cooked dinner to finish up his last requirement to earn his Wolf in Scouts.  Its so fun to see him grow, I'm glad I get to be his Scout leader

Halloween School Parties

Thursday consisted of 4 Halloween parties and a Trunk or Treat.  I had my preschool party full of food, games, songs, books, decorating cookies and lots of cute costumes.  A few minutes after the preschool party I headed to Westridge  to help with Sophie and Garen's school parties.

Haunted Houses

After the Halloween stroll I took the kids to the haunted house at the Civic Center.  Maddie and Bella screamed the whole way through, Sophie started crying and stopped walking and Garen hid his face in my back and just wanted to get out.  It was really funny and I don't think I will take them to another one anytime soon.

Later Andy and I went with some friends out to another very terrifying haunted house.
