1 week shy of 3 months old.  And still such a good baby, we can't get enough of him!
Sophie loves holding her super cute little brother; and Garen still refuses to hold him although he loves playing with him.

A Day at Firehole

We had such a fun day with our friends out at Firehole today.  The kids collected crawdad claws, built sand castles, swam and played in the mud.  The mom's sat and chatted and tried to save children and shade tents during a 10 minute wind storm that I swear was comparable to hurricane strength winds!  We lost several floaties and sand toys and almost some children.  After it was over we had a good laugh about it!

Surprisingly my favorite part of this picture is not how awesomely muddy Sophie's arms are but how hard Rachel is laughing in the background!

Hogle Zoo

We made a day trip to Hogle Zoo on Friday and met my sister and her kids.  It was such a fun day!  We loved the new otters, seals, and polar bear.  My kids loved having the day with their cousins; Maddie and Abby walked with their arms around each other, Garen was so excited to have another boy, Colton join us, and although Sophie likes Ryan she hung on to Colton and hugged him the entire time!  We got to watch them give the elephants a bath and we went to the bird show where the kids seemed perfectly fine with the birds flying so close to their heads that they almost would touch you.  As for me and Sara, I think we ducked everytime they came flying through the audience.  After the zoo Sara's family joined us for dinner, then we headed back to Rock Springs and the kids zonked out for the whole ride home.
