Sophia

To sum Sophie up, she's everywhere all the time! Not quit walking yet but close. But she's learned how to open the cupboards and drawers, get into the garbage, climb and fall down the stairs, climb on Garen's bet and jump and stick her hands in the toilet!
Also, she's just learned to wave, and it's pretty darn cute!

This is the best video I have so far of her waving-

More Soccer

I know I have a lot of soccer pictures lately, but Maddie's soccer takes of 3 days a week, so I get 3 times the photos. Maddie had soccer pictures this week so I took a few of my own. Also the other team forfeited today's game but the girls had a blast playing against their coaches. They lined up in front of the goal covering every available space for the ball to go in. Somehow the coaches still managed to make a few goals.

Goodbye to Tooth number 2

Maddie came in from playing outside the other day and said my tooth is looser can you pull it. I barley touched it and it fell right out. And the toothfairy didn't disappoint that night. Maddie was very careful to the leave her tooth pouch at the edge of her pillow and leave it a little bit open so the toothfairy could easily get in.

Flashback Friday-Sisters Edition

"I could never love anyone like I love my sisters." -Little Women

We are wearing the most beautiful dresses, I wish I still had one like that-

And this picture is such a gem. I think we were tired of being at my brothers wedding, what do you think? (And I'm sure lion hair was in style back then. :))

End of the Summer yardwork

We had planted grass seed in the backyard and it was growing, but very slowly. The thin areas of grass were a muddy mess and growing weeds so we broke down and got some sod. The side of our house was already sodded thanks to our good friends Amanda an Dave for the free sod. So we just had the back part to do. Andy was also busy last week laying bricks for our patio.

the muddy mess before-

and after-

the kids loved helping unroll the sod-

Sophie wanted to be involved with everything as you can tell by her dirty face and the fact that she is not inside the walker.

Since are swing set had to visit the garbage can, Andy hooked the swing to the deck. You can switch out the baby swing with the regular one. Sophie loves it!

First Spelling Test

Maddie had her first spelling test on Friday. Of course she got a 100%. (ok, she could spell those words last year, but good job anyway).

Flashback Friday

Since Maddie's in the middle of soccer season I thought I would look back to my wonderful memories of playing soccer in high school.

I'm on the bottom row middle and my sister is on the top far right.

My favorite part of this picture is our coach wanting nothing to do with the crazy picture-

I got to play one year with my sister and then she got to help coach after that. It was so fun always having her around and playing soccer with her.

We had so much fun at games, practice, and at State. It was such a great group of girls!

9 Months Old

Look, No Hands-

That's right. We have a little girl that can walk along the furniture, crawl across the room in a blink of an eye, climb the stairs, and stand up by herself in the middle of the room! She's such a fun and happy girl that always makes us smile and keeps us on her toes.

First Day of Preschool

Today was Garen's first day of preschool! He did great and loved being with his friends. He got to make a glitter Rainbow fish, A shiny Snake for the letter S, and a giant Jellyfish. He had blue seaweed jigglers and gummy fish for snack and loved singing songs and playing outside.

Maddie's First Soccer Game

Now which way are we going?-

Maddie had her first soccer game on Saturday morning. She did so well-her aggressiveness has really improved since the last time she played! She ran the whole time and worked hard, she just had to sit out a few minutes after a head collision with another girl. Other than that she jumped right back up everytime she was knocked down. And she loved that Grandma Jann and Grandpa Boyd were there to watch her play!
