5th Grade Wax Museum

Maddie got to play Molly Pitcher (a girl from the 1700s that brought water to the soldiers during the war and ended up taking over loading the cannon when her husband collapsed).  The kids had to freeze till you pushed their start button then they had to tell you their story.  It was fun to listen and see all the kids in character.  Maddie did great!

And the girls found a bunny when they got home-

Preschool Graduation

Sophie was 8 months old when I started teaching preschool out of our home.  So she had attended 5 years of preschool with me.  Even after 5 years I can't believe the time has come for her to really graduate and no longer be one of my students!  She is such a huge help every preschool day.  She sets out supplies for me, gets the books and calendar ready; I'm not sure what I'm going to do without her next year!!!
Sophie did amazing during the graduation program!  She said all her parts and sang all her songs.  What a special little girl she is and I have treasured my time with her as her teacher.
Maddie was my assistant during the program.  She was so helpful passing out props, moving the microphone from kid to kid and helping them remember their parts.

Everett helping clean up afterwards-

It was so fun and so helpful to have grandma Sue here to help.

Garen at Soccer

Garen is so fun to watch!  One second he's jumping crazy in the air so he can watch his shadow and he has no idea where the ball is and the next second he's in the game playing aggressive.  He's definitely entertaining!

Preschool Picnic in the Park

Memorial Day!

We had such a fun Memorial Day up in the mountains as a family.  We hiked, explored, climbed rocks, had a picnic, raced flowers down the flowing creek, played hide in seek in the trees, listened to dozens of frogs but could find any of them, got ice cream, fished, and just enjoyed a beautiful day!
