Girl Scout Flowers

It was Maddie's turn this week to take care of all the Daisy girl's flowers. They are learning respect and care for not only thier own things but others as well. Maddie loved watering the flowers every day and watching each one grow taller. She was very careful to take good care of everyone's flowers.

Warmer Weather, at least for a couple days

We've really enjoyed the nice weather lately! We've gone on walks to the park and the library and just had a good time outside. But of course it didn't last long. We are now back to snow and wind.

while we were at the library they had Hattie the dog there. She's a dog kids can read to. Maddie was very excited about this and picked out a dog book to read her. Garen didn't want anything to do with her.
Garen and Zoe loved being pushed on the tire swing, until Garen let go and fell through the middle getting a bloody lip and a mouth full of sand.

"I have Gas"

I just had to add this little story so it can always be in our memory books.
I stayed and watched Maddie at gymnastics yesterday. She did so awesome on her floor and beam routines. But she was standing up on the high beam and all the parents and the rest of her class were watching. Maddie looks over at me and yells, "I've got gas mom!" She had no shame as all the other parents start laughing.

St Patrick's Day Party

maddie painted both their toes green

I got to go help in Maddie's class this morning. They had a green breakfast of: green eggs and ham, green milk, green toast, grapes, honeydew, kiwi, and green apples. They sang their Irish songs and read Green Eggs and Ham. It was a ton of fun. Maddie's teacher is so great!

There have been leprachauns in Maddie's classroom. They have found green foot prints and green glitter all over there classroom.
Wath Maddie's teacher doing the Irish jig! It is to funny; you would never guess she was 63 years old!

Another weekend away

We got to Andy's parents house late Friday night and once again Garen got car sick just 15 minutes away from Clarkston! So we had a bunch of throw up to clean up again! But we had a very enjoyable weekend!
Saturday morning Amber, Zeb and Levi came out to play and I took the kids out back for some sledding. We just haven't gotten any snow in Rock Springs, so we've missed out on the sledding this year.

yummy snow

Then after lunch we met Brenda and her kid at the Fun Park for some bowling. The kids had a blast! Maddie did really well and Garen loved to roll his ball and then dance and run around while he waited for it to hit the pins. Half way through Garen ran into the ball guide and got a bloody nose. But there were no tears and he was ready to play again when we got him cleaned up.

After bowling, Andy went to visit his grandpa Ira while Brenda and I took the kids to the indoor playground. Garen was so funny not veering from his course through the playplace-that boy does not like change. Jacob and Danny were having a hard time finding Maddie because she would just dart through nets and tunnels so fast! We had a good time!

After we said goodbye to Brenda and her boys we stopped in North Logan to visit great great grandma Pug. We wanted her to meet Sophie. She amazes me how well she is getting around and doing stuff at age 95.

Saturday night Andy and I got to leave the kids behind and go out with friends Taylor and Michelle. We went to Olive Garden, Charlies, and then to the movie Taken. It was a fabulous evening!

On Sunday we went to Andy's parent's church. The kids enjoyed their classes. I'm very proud of them for going straight to primary and nursery without even worrying about being in a different ward. We got a couple pictures after church on Sunday.

Sunday evening we enjoyed dinnerand games with all the family.
Monday came all to quickly. I unfortunately had to start my day at the dentist getting my chipped tooth fixed and fixing a filling that had come out. Then it was time to head home. We stopped in Bear Lake for some dinner and to take a break from the car ride. The kids love playing at Roger and Janene's house!
Then we finally got home about 9pm last night.
Listen to this boy snore!-
