New floors!

I guess I complained about our horrible dirty carpets long enough Andy bought some new wood floors. And then he broke his back and his knees for 3 days putting the new floors in. I love them and I was so happy to wipe up the first spill with simply wiping it up with a towel!

Maddie has really been complaining about headaches and feeling dizzy so I took her to the doctor just to make sure there wasn't something weird going on. Little did we know they would do the works on her. Blood drawn, urine treat and an EKG!

Results came back and she is perfectly healthy except her vitamin D was really low. Hopefully some supplements and some sun will get rid of her symptoms.

Logan weekend

Besides visiting grandma pug and grandma Margaret we also got to spend time with grandma Janene, amber, zeb, Levi, zack, and of course grandma Jann and grandpa Boyd.  It was a quick weekend but we squeezed in a lot. I got to do some shopping, Andy and I got to go to the temple followed by lunch at Olive Garden, and we got to go to church with Andy's parents. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins.

Visiting great grandma Margaret

100 years!

I thought Garen's writing about being 100 years old was perfect to go with our pictures of the kids' great-great grandma Pug. How many kids can say they have a great great grandma and she's 100 years old!
We were so glad we got to visit her just 5 days after her big birthday. She cried and said how lovely all the kids were. Andy asked her is she had any advice for us and she told us to be good and to have fun and find the joy and happiness in life.
What a great lady-I can't imagine what it would be like to have seen the last 100 years!

Sophie got her ears pierced!

Sophie was so excited and begging to get her ears pierced.  So on president's day we had the day off so we headed to the mall to add a little bling to her ears.  She was really brave but after they got the first one in she changed her mind about wanting the 2nd one in.  She kept saying "take it out, take it out"  But after a few minutes to calm down she sat on my lap to finish up.  Now she loves to show everyone her new earrings.

Maddie enjoyed telling Sophie all about when she got her ears pierced.
