Wyoming's big show

The kids and I spent all day at the fair. We fed and pet animals, roped a cow head, played a giant game of checkers, watched a clown show, ate snow cones and curly fries, watched a bird show, played with police k9 dogs, rode a countless number of rides, and saw kangaroos. We finally had to head home at 3:30 to let Everett have a nap.
But when Andy got home from work he took the kids back where they did a few more rides and Maddie participated in a trivia game show and she ended up winning!
Since Andy and I had already paid for our entry for the day and concerts are free once you pay to get in we decided to go back up for the Montgomery Gentry concert. It was a fun little date night. Wyomings big show did not disappoint.

Sleeping Maddie

Big boy

Poor boy got 5 shots today. But it looks like he may surpass us all in height someday. He's 31 inches tall and 23 pounds putting him in the 57th percentile. ( our other 3 kids always stick around the 10th percentile).

After we met the rodeo princesses we headed to swimming lessons where Sophie got to play on this fun giant water obstacle course.  Then we all headed to the giant slip n slide followed by the Summer movie.  Maddie finished her last day of swimming lessons and got asked to start a diving class next week.  Then our evening was spent at our ward BBQ.  A pretty great summer day!

The kids and I got to go watch some rodeo girls perform some rope tricks and my girls got autographed pictures of the rodeo queen and princess.

The next day we ended up on the front page of the newspaper!

More Olympics

Maddie and Garen participated in volleyball, baseball, and football Olympics this morning.  Maddie was the only girl in her age group and beat most of those boys in each of the events.  She even metaled in football!  Garen did really well to and had a lot of fun with his friends.
The boys couldn't leave Everett alone, they loved him-
