Discovery Kid Day

The Child Development Center, where Garen goes to preschool had their annual Discovery Kid Day today.    The kids enjoyed tons of sensory and art activities, face painting, the police dept and fire dept.

Westridge Carnival

Tonight was Maddie's school carnival.  It was loud, it was chaotic, but the kids had a blast and burned through 80 game tickets in no time.

Yankees

Garen got his New York Yankees uniform at tball practice today.  His first game is next week, he can't wait to play a 'real' game!

gymnastics Pool Party

Maddie had her end of the year team gymnastics party tonight.  They got to go swimming, eat dinner and treats, make material flip flops and got some awards.

Fire Station Field Trip

I took my preschool class to the fire station today.  The firefighters were great with the kids and even let them all try on the jackets and helmets.  Sophie decided just the helmet was good and Garen stayed in his safe zone behind me most of the time.

Choir Concert

Maddie had her choir concert tonight.  She sang beautifully!

Ice Skating Party

Today was Maddie's last day of figure skating until next Fall.  She had such a great season and improved so much, I'm glad I decided to let her do it after she begged for a year.
