Sleepy Sophie

Sophie was pretty cranky after a long Sunday. When I put her to bed I could hear her crying and coming after me. I went down to the preschool to clean and was expecting her to come down whining. I was pleased when she didn't. It wasn't till I came out later and noticed her asleep on the stairs. I guess she was after me but was to tired to make it pass the steps.

Success

Sophie only got out of her new bed once tonight and then she was out cold. And she went to bed with no binki! The dentist said today that he was seeing teeth movement due to her binki so it was time to say goodbye to it. I was glad she did fine without it because earlier when I said we needed to get rid of it she ran and hid and told me "never, you never take my binki".

Sophie Mae

This is my little Sophie...a little girlie girl who demands to wear dresses and picks out her own flowers, shoes and nail polish. But the moment she goes out to play the shoes come off, the hair messed up, and she finds the dirties place to play! This girl is so full of personality and knows what she wants-I love it!

Sophie Style

Sophie is the funniest, little girliest person. She makes us laugh all the time. I came downstairs and found her with her hat on with a dress (she said her head was cold) and later she added some flip-flops to her outfit.

Also tonight we had one of those America's funniest home video moments. At the dinner table out of nowhere Sophie gave Garen a little push, Garen was in just the right position that he lost his balance and tumble straight to the floor, but not without hitting his cup of milk which splash Maddie right in the face soaking her hair, clothes, and plate of food. All we could do was laugh! (and of course clean it all up).

Sophie stood on the side and copied what all the gymnasts were doing. She can't wait to start gymnastics, to bad she has to be 3.
Everytime I tried to take pictures of Maddie or Garen, Sophie would step in front of the camera and say "no, picture of me!"

She screamed when I tried to put pants on her this morning. This is the outfit she picked. I love my little princess!

At the library-

Sophie has been more involved with preschool lately, she just jumps right in and does what the preschoolers are doing (she just makes a little bit bigger mess) and luckily the preschoolers like her and always want to help her do stuff.

She always seems to know when its snack time or their are treats involved and that's when she shows up from upstairs to join in!

We are at the Rec center a lot, when we drive up Sophie always calls it "my Rec. Center" and is very upset if Maddie or Garen try to argue with her or if they push the handicap button that opens the doors instead of her. She spends about 4 hours in the day care there a week while I work out, then we go for Ice skating, Garen's gymnastics, Maddie's gymnastics, and playgroup, not to mention when we go swimming or to play basketball for fun. Sophie is at such a FUN stage. She is full of silly things to say, and tons of hugs and kisses for everyone!

Panda Nebulizer

Sophie's wheezing and coughing has been really bad making her breathing labored. So on top of the 3 medications we had to buy we also had to purchase a nebulizer. Sophie's pretty good with it, she likes that it's a panda and she hold it by her mouth most of the time. Sometimes she likes to hold it in the air and watch the steam. I just sit and read stories to her while she holds it. I think her ear infections are clearing up because she isn't complaining about her ears anymore, now if we could just get rid of this other yuck stuff!
And sadly, Garen spiked a fever last night and is now coughing.

Sophie was down in the preschool with me the day we made binoculars. She loves them. She walks around the house saying "I see_____" and she pretends she exploring. It's really cute! Thank goodness for toilet paper rolls!

Sophie's birthday party in Burley

We got to have a little party for Sophie while in Burley. She loved the attention of everyone watching her open her presents and blow out her candles.

2 years old!!!

My baby turned 2 today! I can't believe how quickly she is growing up. She is very much a mommy's girl right now and wants to be with me all the time and even gets mad when she has to go with Andy. She is so smart and quite the little talker. I love her giant hugs, kisses and snuggles!

Sophie's Birthday Party

On Saturday we celebrated Sophie's second birthday while Jann and Boyd were here and since Andy won't be around on Wednesday her real birthday. She was in heaven with all her new babies, stuffed dog and cat, shopping cart, puzzle, books, nail polish, and necklaces!

Also while the grandparents were here the kids got to open their Christmas presents from them. Maddie was thrilled to get an Ipod, plus a new game and some PJ's

And Garen was pretty happy with his Mac semis from Cars movie and his Connex car building blocks

About midnight that night my best friend Carrol and her family came and stayed the night. We stayed up talking (well mostly laughing) until the wee hours of the morning, but it was so worth it. I love her sweet kids and I couldn't put her newborn baby down! I love Carrol and I love that we have been the best of friends since we were babies! I don't love that I didn't take any pictures!
