Garen's First Day at the CDC

Garen was so excited to go back to school that he woke up at 6am, he came in my room all dressed and ready to go to school. I thought 8:30 school was going to be to early-apparently not. He was very excited to see his old teachers and some of his old friends.

Boys trip

Andy took Garen Friday and Saturday on a little camping and fishing trip. They made tin foil dinners, smores, slept in the tent, and caught lots of fish! Garen was a pretty good photographer even though there was about 50 pictures of grass and his fingers.

Pirate Camp

Garen finished his week of Pirate Camp today. He had a good time painting treasure chests, playing games, making pirate ships, decorating pirate cup cakes, and other fun pirate activities.

Cake

Garen really likes Mario right now and I couldn't find a Mario cake. So I asked Garen what kind of cake he would like, I gave him options like Toy Story, Spiderman and out of no where he said he wanted a Jungle cake. So that's what he got. The next task was trying to take a normal picture of him with his cake-

Presents

When Garen got home from the campout out me and the girls had his presents out and ready for him!

After presents we loaded up the van and headed to Logan.

Happy 5th Birthday

He has grown up so much so quickly! Garen is full of hugs and makes up laugh everyday! I can't believe he is 5 today!

End of the Year Pincnic for CDC preschool

We went to Garen's family picnic this morning. The Child Development Center has been so good for him this year and we have seen so much progress! He'll get to go again in the Fall.

Garen was to busy running around with his friends I only got this picture of Sophie doing bubbles at the picnic.

Preschool Pool Party

Today was our end of the year pool party. The kids just swam and had fun together. Garen had a blast. I am now ready for Summer Break!!!

Preschool Graduation

Preschool graduation was on Monday. I will miss all my little cuties! I had 17 preschoolers on stage and it got a little crazy but we made it through. Garen was Mr. Class clown. He was acting silly and saying strange things in the microphone like, "I want to be a pencil when I grow up" and instead of saying his part about butterflies he said "butterflies have nothing" followed by "boo!". At one point he burped really loud and continued to do the actions to each song incorrectly. All you can do is look at that spunky little boy and laugh.

Andy took pictures and videoed for me, since my hands were kinda busy with a stage full of kids. Garen is on the far right side being as silly as always-

Celebrating Garen's birthday at Preschool

On the last day of preschool classes, we celebrated all the Summer birthdays and had a Pajama Day. We painted, made playdough cakes, and ate banana splits.

I love this kid! He has such an imagination. Yesterday on our drive on top of the mountain he wanted to stop because the place we were looked like a place leprechauns might live and he wanted to see if we could find one even though they are very sneaky.

This boy also does not like his picture taken. He hates when the attention is focused on him. He either runs away, won't look at the camera, or pulls a face.
