End of Soccer Camp

The kids learned so much at soccer camp and had a great time. I was grateful for Jann and several of my friends for taking the kids to and from camp while I was gone.

I love listening to their accents and its also pretty funny to watch Garen pick up his ball and run because he didn't want him to steal his ball!-

It made me so happy today to see my little timid Garen jump right into the group this morning and play his little heart out! And Maddie proved to be a mean defending machine today.

Safety day at Home Depot. They gave our Girl Scout troop a very nice grill to occasion off. We made almost $300 for our troop. Maddie enjoyed the police dog, building boats, free pizza, and many other fun activities-

Sophie loved the fire hat and all the fire trucks, police cars, and candy-

Garen didn't like all the people, noise, and giant fire dog as much as the others-

Andy and I got to go out to eat kid free thanks to his parents, and we celebrated Andy's birthday coming up this Tuesday-

Maddie was most excited about the magnet button we got with her soccer picture on it.

First Soccer Game

Today was Maddie's first soccer game of the season. She did great and had a lot of fun! Garen on the other hand smashed his fingers on the playground and didn't enjoy his time there at all.

GOOOOOAAALLLLL!!!!

Maddie scored two goals and about 10 other attempts at her soccer game last night! I was so proud of her. She played the entire game (they had no subs) and she was all over defense and offense. She has really caught on to the game and knows just where to go, how to get open, and how to pass. It was so fun watching her! She was so excited when she scored. Of course I had my two other sickies wrapped up at the freezing game, but they were not to happy to be there. I tried pulling out the camera to get a video but my batteries were dead-maybe next game.

More Soccer

I know I have a lot of soccer pictures lately, but Maddie's soccer takes of 3 days a week, so I get 3 times the photos. Maddie had soccer pictures this week so I took a few of my own. Also the other team forfeited today's game but the girls had a blast playing against their coaches. They lined up in front of the goal covering every available space for the ball to go in. Somehow the coaches still managed to make a few goals.
