Birthdays

Since we blessed Everett on my (and my dad's) birthday we celebrated with a giant cake after lunch.  It's been a few years since my dad and I got to be together on our actual birthday so it was fun to celebrate together again!

Everett's Blessing

Today Everett was blessed by his father.  Andy gave him a beautiful blessing.  

He blessed him that as each day passes Everett will recognize the spirit of the Holy Ghost and be able to know what it feels like.  Blessed him with the desire to serve others; his friends, his family and some day his wife and children.  He blessed him to be able to do what is right and when he falls short to pray for help to be able to stand up to temptations.

After sacrament meeting all 23 members of my family that were able to come squeezed into my house for lunch.

Future missionary-

We were glad great grandma Janene was able to make it.  I know the day wasn't easy for her since it was her wedding anniversary and she just lost her husband.

So tired after a long day-

2 Weeks Old!

Everett is the best little 2 week old ever!  He sleeps well, he eats well, and he is the cutest thing to look at all day.  He weighed in at 9 pounds 5 ounces at his two week appointment.  And he has started to smile at us.

Garen's Mario Party

We had a whirlwind Mario party for Garen.  There were 8 boys tackling each other, attaching the ghost balloons, downing some cake, attempting to play some games, smacking the candy out of the pinata, and playing some serious make believe Mario characters outside.

10 Days Old

Everett has been with us less than 2 weeks and it makes me wonder how I ever lived without him.  I could   just look at his face all day long.  He is the sweetest baby and never cries for very long.  I love his chubby cheeks and I kiss them way to much.  He's even a pretty good little sleeper.

 Even when he cries I can't help but think how cute his facial expressions are!
