Our weekend to Boise, Burley, and Logan

Friday-Monday was a whirlwind of family, special events, cousins, and driving.  Our kids have 19 cousins all together on both sides and they got to play and see 18 of them this weekend!
Early Friday morning we headed to Boise, we only stopped twice and the long trip wasn't so bad.  One of our stops was in Twin Falls where we ate lunch.  We stopped to look at the beautiful canyon and as a bonus we got to watch parachuters jumping off the bridge.  The kids thought that was awesome.
Once in Boise the cousins immediately joined together in play, video making, leaf jumping, and lots of smiling faces.
Andy and I headed to Carsten's big surprise 40th birthday.  It was so fun and there were so many people there to surprise him.  It was nice to spend time with all my siblings and parents and some of my cousins.
Saturday was also a special day, we got to see Joren get baptized and little Aksel get blessed.
And since Mandy's house was overly packed we stayed with Andy's Aunt Judy who just lives a mile from Mandy.  It was so nice to visit with her and and Den as well as Andy's cousins Trena and Adam.
Friday and Saturday in Boise was such a wonderful time with family that made it so worth the long trip!

Saturday night we headed to Burley and Maddie was excited to have Abby riding with us.  Burley was a nice relaxing 24 hours with Grandma and Grandpa and Sara's family.
Then Sunday night we were off to Logan.  A part of my tooth broke off and I still use my dentist in Logan so we headed there to get it fixed.
It was so nice to spend a little time with Andy's parents, Amber and her family and even Grandma Janene came over for a bit.  After the dentist on Monday morning Andy and I got to squeeze in a little lunch date at Olive Garden and do a little shopping before heading back to Rock Springs.
For such a short weekend with so much traveling we sure got to have some great time with family and only suffered a few minor mishaps like backing into a parked car and loosing my debit card.
