Colton's Baptism

We got to make a day trip down to Utah for Colton's baptism.  It was a wonderful day with family.

Sometimes you just need an evening with nice weather and nowhere to be so u can jump on the tramp with your kids. We all laughed so hard. So glad we were able to get home from ice skating and soccer practice and eat dinner an still have over an hour to play outside. I can't wait till summer!

Easter!

What a lovely Easter Sunday.  The kids did the talk, prayer, article of Faith, and scripture at 8:30AM in primary.  Church was wonderful.  I knew it would be a while before Andy could come home after church so I took the kids across town to take their pictures.  Everett was in need of a nap and did not want his picture taken.  When we got home and ate lunch we only had to wait a little bit longer for Andy then the kids got to find their baskets.  They had to answer a question about Christ's Resurrection to be able to get a clue word.  Then after they had all their clues they had to figure out where their baskets were.  After they checked out the fun stuff in their baskets we got to have their egg hunt.  They had a blast!

Everett got to find his eggs around the house after he woke up from his nap.  He was pretty pleased to find they all had candy in them.

Later we dyed eggs, watched a movie, colored with chalk and studied the scriptures and had a lovely dinner of corn on the cob, ribs, salad and watermelon.  It was such a great Easter and I am so not ready for school and all our other activities to start up again tomorrow!
