Maddie and Sophie participated in their first Figure Skating Competition this weekend. It was a really good learning experience for both of them. Maddie has really grown and improved in her skating this year. Both girls were up against skaters with professional coaching from Park City and surrounding areas so they really had some good competition! Sophie got third place. Maddie got 5th in Showcase and 4th in Freeskate. It was really fun to watch them perform! I did learn I am just not cut out to be the mom of performers, I'm not good enough at hair, makeup, sewing props, ect. Thank goodness for talented friends.

Good for them. They look beautiful! What a great opportunity for them! Wish I could have been there to cheer them on.
