Sunday

It was a busy, interesting, spiritual filled Sunday.
We started with some extra kids in the morning at 8:30 so their dad could go to the morning meetings and their mom was working.
Sacrament meeting program was put on by all the Young Women. Maddie and Rachel Shuler played a rendition of I am a child of God on their clarinets. I had never heard them play it before today and it was beautiful!  Then Maddie participated in 3 other beautiful songs.

In between classes one of my friend's kids from the other ward came running down the hallway with eyes watering and panic. He was choking on a hard candy. With another friends baby in one of my arms I gave Caleb a few smacks and the candy flew out of his mouth.

Then at the end of church in the Young Women room they set apart the laurel, miamades, and beehive presidencies. Maddie got set apart as the 2nd counselor in the beehives and Andy got to do the setting apart which was really cool!  The words were powerful and the spirit was strong in that room.
It also meant a lot that he got to do that because he gets released from the bishopric next Sunday when they put in a new bishop.

The rest of Sunday was visiting teaching for me, strength of youth fireside with bishop for Maddie and home teaching for Andy.
