British Soccer Camp

Maddie and Garen started British Soccer Camp today. Maddie played better than I have ever seen her play, I don't know if she's just grown and understands the game better, or if it's because she is the only girl on her team and is trying to prove herself. Either way she rocked it! They were split into teams to play the world cup-Maddie's team is Columbia. I love hearing all the British accents of her coaches and they are so positive and motivating for the kids, they pick out every good thing they are doing!
Garen was a bit hesitant to start with the large group but once they split into smaller groups he really enjoyed the games. His age group played they had to dribble their "cannon balls" quietly to the middle of the field and still a piece of treasure without waking the captain. That's what Garen is doing in the last picture.

This kid young boy on her team took Maddie under his wing and kept telling her how good she was doing and helped her to know better ways to play.

Doing some team building excercises-

Garen going to sneak treasure from the sleeping pirate-
