Change

 Today was a big day; a sad, happy, weird dream like day.  First they changed a bunch of our ward boundaries and created a 4th ward in our building.  This change moved our family from the White Mountain Ward to the Overland Ward.  We've been in the White Mountain ward for 5 years now and have grown to love it and all the people.  Although many of my friends will also be moving to Overland ward with me, many of my friends are not.

On top of the ward change Andy got ordained a High Priest today by his father.  And the reason for this ordination was because Andy was called as the 2nd Counselor in the bishopric.  Andy dislikes change even more than I do and I know he really loved being Elders Quorum president these last few years but he's ready and willing to serve in this new calling.  When we got called to the Stake center Thursday night and they extended the calling Andy looked at me like 'what do you think' and I told him I knew this was coming even before I married him-no surprise here.  

Change is hard but change is good.  We look forward to getting settled into serving in our new ward.

Friday night I got to spend the evening with some fun girls bowling!  U can tell how good we were since I won with a 97!!  I love girls nights

Amazing Race Camp

Maddie finished up her Amazing Race camp this week.  She loved every minute of it!  She learned about a lot of countries, completed physical challenges, and made crafts to go along with the country they were learning about.  Garen also finished up his Under the Sea Math and Science camp this week.  I was surprised how happy and excited he was about his camp everyday.

Jungle Book

 I took the kids up to the college for the Jungle Book Play.  The loved it and the scenery and music were really awesome!

30!

It seems like 30 has been creeping up on me for a long time but I can't believe it has already come and gone!  I am happy to say I can look back on the last 30 years with no regrets and lots of happiness.  And instead of having a nervous break down about being 30 I'm going to attempt to make it the best year so far!

It was so fun to have my mom and Mandy's family here in the morning on my birthday as they were passing through on their way home from Minnesota.  My mom made me a lovely cake.  Then for dinner Andy and I met a few of our friends (Tarbets, Jibsons, Hales, Castilions, Hanbergs, Smiths, and Hydes).  It was a wonderful evening.  We finished off the night by watching the end of season 7 of 24.  

And sad we didn't get to celebrate with my dad this year but happy 68th!

Animal Adventure Camp

Tuesday and Wednesday last week Maddie got to go learn and make crafts about animals and then on Thursday they headed to the Zoo bright and early.  Maddie really enjoyed this camp and one of my friends road on the bus with the kids so she took some pictures for me.

Ward Campout

We went to Firehole for our ward campout.  Everett and I just went for dinner and the evening and Andy and the kids stayed overnight.  Sophie was so excited about sleeping in the tent and they all played in the wild with their friends till dark.
