We had the most amazing first day of Summer! First thing in the morning the kids jumped right into their summer chore list, piano practicing, and Summer school work. They completed it all while I was at the gym so at 10:30 we headed to the splash park with a bunch of our friends. We played there for almost 3 hours! Then while Everett napped the other 3 put the sprinkler under the tramp and played with the neighbor kids.
Once Andy got home at 4 we headed to Green River. We had a quick stop at the Orthodontist for Maddie, then a little dinner at Article Circle, then off to the Gorge for fishing, throwing rocks, a campfire and s'mores. We did get home late and everyone needed a shower due to the campfire smoke smell but it was a perfect day. I loved every minute of it.
