After the BBQ Garen zonked out on the couch for a bit and Maddie spent the afternoon playing with our neighbor, Brady.
Andy got home about 7:30 and we headed out to the golf course for the fireworks.
The kids ran around with all the other kids from the ward, played on the playground, and did sparklers.
Just before the fireworks were going to start Maddie was running around with her friends in the dark and ran into a metal gate. She came crying to us holding her head. She had a nice size goose egg and a gash in the middle. Andy went to the van to get a closer look in the light and concluded it wasn't to deep so we didn't need to make a trip to the ER.
We watched the firework show and the kids liked putting their 3D glasses on during it. We got home about 11:30. Everyone was very tired; lets just say 9AM church came a little to soon.
Garen's favorite part was dancing to the music. His little nap gave him the energy to dance the night away.

Yeah, you get Wyoming fireworks. Lucky!
I am way behind again on blogs. Dad and I watched fireworks on tv. Exciting, huh. It just isn't worth it to go to the real things if there aren't any kids there to watch also.
I love the fireworks headband on Sophie's head.
