Maddie's 6th Birthday

Maddie had a very fun filled birthday. Schools not out yet, so she got to spend most the day in school. After lunch I brought her class Popsicles for a birthday treat as Maddie requested. The kids loved it-I think they get a lot of cupcakes, so they enjoyed the change.

After school daddy brought home flowers for the little birthday girl and then we let her open her presents.

Next we headed to the school carnival. Maddie had a blast running from the jump house to the blow up slide, to the obstacle course with her friends. With Maddie's last tickets she ended up hurting her ankle on the slide. I think its a sprain. It hurt her to walk, but she still wanted to carry on with the days plans.

At 6pm we dropped Sophie off at the babysitter and went swimming. Our neighbors Zoe and Melissa came with. We had a great time and we warmed up in the hot tub afterwards.

After swimming we still hadn't eaten dinner, so Maddie picked McDonald's. The kids had happy meals and then we got ice cream sundaes to share after.

We got home about 9pm and Maddie's ankle was a bit swollen and bruised. She went to school today but called home at noon because it was hurting her to bad. Hopefully she'll rest it enough today so she can go to her last day of school tomorrow!

Garen picked Maddie a slinky to give her, it is Maddie favorite! I should have got all her presents from the dollar store!-

Maddie loves games so we her got Disney scene it-

new markers, paints, and glitter-

A Hannah Montana mirror for her bedroom-

She had requested the Bee Movie-

a tank top and loom from Mandy and Sara-

flowers from dad-

a new scripture bag made by Alisha-

At the Carnival-

At McDonalds-

I went to take a picture of her eating her ice cream, but she dipped her finger in ketchup right then. Silly ketchup girl!-
And the fun's not over yet! Friday is her friend party and Saturday is our family party. I believe in Birthweeks, not birthdays!

I'm sorry to hear she hurt her ankle. But what a fun birthday she had. Hopefully she is doing better.
