We got to celebrate Garen's birthday several different times. First when Grandma Sue was here, and he got his fishing pole and fish that he loves so much as well as some giant blocks. Then we pre-ordered a cake to share with family but we were all sick so we were stuck with the cake. Luckily one day we had about 9 kids over just playing so I decided to dig into the Yo Gabba Gabba cake that day.
Then on his actual birthday, he woke up to balloons, his presents, and birthday cereal. He spent the morning trying out his new Wii game, driving his remote control truck, and playing with his Superman and Batman. For lunch I let him pick were we should go and he picked the bagel shop. There he ordered a chocolate chip bagel and a chocolate cookie with chips-pretty awesome lunch! When Andy got home we had planned to go out fishing but the weather was crummy so Garen picked going to the Rec. Center to play instead. Then we came home and had cupcakes and ice cream.
Next on Saturday Grandma Jann and Grandpa Boyd came up so he got to open more presents, including new Mario Brothers (his favorite) pj's, a Cars came, Mario Bros. Movie, and some other fun things. And again we got to celebrate with cake and ice cream!

That was totally Emi. We celebrated her bday three different times. It was so much fun for her! I remember holding little Garen as a baby. I even remember that outfit on him from that below picture. Such a sweet little boy. So darn handsome too. Happy bday Garen, and Maddie! I know I'm late, but I still thought of you both!! And Em, you are still getting old right along with me. Not too long before you hit the big 2-7 :0).
