Maddie's 5th Birthday...

So for Maddie's birthday yesterday, we met some friends at the pool for a little fun. (well, fun for them and chaos for me :)) I had Avery today so I got a little glimpse of what it would be like to take two year old twins to a huge pool with lots of people! They all had a lot of fun! I just had to spend an extra $16 to buy the new state wide plastic pants that all kids 3 and under have to wear to get into the pools this summer.
While at the pool, Maddie was just tall enough to go down the water slide all by herself. She was a little nervous at first, but once she did it she did not want to stop. The lifeguards kept asking, "how old is she, 3?" "she looks so little". But Maddie would make sure everyone at the pool knew that she is now 5 years old!
